- The Peace Center
The Peace Center is Greenville, SC’s most distinguished performing arts destination. Here, individuals can see Broadway plays, concerts, ballets, and more in an elegant, 2,100 seat hall. Smaller shows can also be seen at Gunter Theater, Harkins Theater, and the Peace Plaza (outside). This January, the Peace Center is performing The Outsiders, Les Miserables and hosting “Nashville:” The Encore Tour, the Akropolis Reed Quintet, and Brett Young: 2.0 Tour.

- Greenville Theater
The Greenville Theater is “the oldest and largest professional, non profit theatre company” in the Upstate, and is therefore worth a visit. Established in 1926, it is beloved for its historical auditorium, and it specializes in musicals, dramas, and comedies. See Fiddler on the Roof in March, Steel Magnolias in April, and Disney’s Frozen in June.

- SC Children’s Theater
The most family friendly venue in Greenville, SC, is the SC Children’s Theatre, which has been operating for more than 35 years. There are two stages: the 300 seat Bell Main Stage and smaller Younts Stage. This January and February will feature The Rainbow Fish, The Lion, the Witch & The Wardrobe, and Elephant and Piggies. Of course, this theater hosts younger actors and actresses, making it an ideal place to bring younger audience members.

- Center Stage
With only 275 seats, Center Stage is much more of an intimate setting than the Peace Center.
