Pumpkins and costumes and treats… oh my! The Brutontown Community Center invites you to an evening of Fall festivities, including trick or treating and craft making. Everything is free, including food and games. Take advantage of the days leading up to Halloween with this safe, family-friendly event, right near downtown Greenville. Join from 6-8pm for all the fun!

Looking for a unique way to celebrate Halloween? Roper Mountain’s Halloween Laser Shows do not disappoint. For only $8, individuals can be dazzled by spooky laser images at Hooper Planetarium. Choose from shows like “Laser Halloween: Frights & Lights,” “Halloween Spooktacular,” and “Stranger Things.” Be sure to arrive early because no one will be allowed to enter after the show has begun. This Friday is the last show of the season; get your ticket today!

Reignite passion for an old outdoor hobby or discover a new one during the Everything Outdoor Fest in Simpsonville, SC. Historic Hopkins Farm will be hosting a weekend of planned outside activities such as fishing, biking, kayaking, and more. Pack a tent, chair, and snacks to set up a cozy resting spot before heading out to listen to live music and explore demos/ workshops. Tickets are $20 for a two day adult ticket and $12 for a one day ticket.

Kids aren't the only ones who can have a good time on Halloween. While there may not be trick or treating, PKL’s Halloween Block Party has almost everything else. They’ve got food, drinks, pickleball, bowling, henna, yoga, scavenger hunts, and more. PKL Park, Pangea Brewing Company, and Southernside Brewing will be teaming up on Friday and Saturday from 6pm-11pm to throw the best Block Party ever. You won’t want to miss it!

This November 1st, keep the spooky shenanigans going with Greer’s Day of the Dead Festival. Join from 1pm-9pm for an all day celebration of Mexican culture, food, drinks, and art. Entry is free! Come rain or shine; this is an indoor/outdoor event at the Center for the Arts building in Greer. A special focus will be on the humble monarch butterfly, a sacred symbol both for the Day of the Dead and for Greer, the first Monarch City in SC. Enjoy!
