Art has the ability to breathe life into an ordinary day. Be inspired this weekend at Artisphere, Greenville’s largest annual art festival. This year, 140 artisans and around 30 performers will be in attendance, inspiring the audience with their unique artistic interpretations. In addition to artwork, participants are invited to check out the culinary options, with food trucks such as Otto Izakaya, Society Sandwich Bar, Persis Indian Grill, and more. Last year, an estimated 90,000 people attended the festival, producing a $14.1 million financial impact in Greenville, SC. Where you shop makes a difference; support local!
Take Mother’s Day Brunch to the next level at Between the Trees. This refined restaurant at the Grand Bohemian Lodge is serving up a 3 course menu, from 11:30am-3:00pm. Click on the link below to see this weekend’s menu: a shareable appetizer, main course, and dessert. A glass of champagne or a mimosa is included with the price of the $65 ticket. Enjoy the view of Greenville’s Liberty Bridge in a relaxed environment, with live music strumming in the background.

Just a short drive from Greenville, the Simpsonville Farmers Market offers a more relaxed, small-town farmers market with fresh produce, local honey, handmade soaps, and more. It’s a community favorite for its variety of vendors and friendly atmosphere. The season runs every Saturday in May-September from 8am-12pm. Be sure to bring your own reusable bags. Additionally, the location of the market has temporarily been moved to the lot behind City Hall due to construction. Happy treasure hunting!
The cinematic masterpiece Back to the Future is coming to a Peace Center near you during the month of May. Join for a hilarious, musical adaptation of the film, directed by the film’s original creator. Marty Mcfly, Dr. Brown, and all of your favorite characters will be back in action, defying the laws of time and space, set to hits like “The Power of Love,” “Earth Angel,” and “Back in Time.” Tickets start at $60, and the show is recommended for ages 6+.
