Take me out to the ballgame! This weekend, the NCAA is hosting the Southern Conference Baseball Championship at Fluor Field in Greenville, SC. All day passes start at $15, making it an affordable and chill weekend passtime. Come cheer on your favorite team and be sure to grab a snack from the concession stand. Please note that Fluor Field has a clear bag policy. Additionally, it’s recommended to select seats in the shade if possible because it is hot, hot, hot out there. Enjoy!
School’s out for the summer and that means that lake days are back, baby! You’re invited to a Memorial Day Float-a-Palooza at The Landing this Saturday-Monday. Enjoy a live DJ, rental deals, snacks, and floating bar, just 15 minutes from downtown Greenville. Prices are relatively affordable: General Admission is $15, a Float Fanatic Pass is $25, and a Weekend Float Pass is $50. Explore one of Greenville’s hidden gems, a paradise with scenic views and good vibes.


Planes won’t be the only ones taking off at the Greenville downtown airport this weekend; the 12th annual Take Flight 5K is taking place this Saturday, May 24th. Watch planes take off and land while strolling the flattest track in town, around Runway Park. Costumes are highly encouraged! Tickets are $40 for the 5K and $20 for the 1 mile run. All proceeds will benefit new playground equipment for Runway Park to benefit our community. Join for a short Memorial Day ceremony honoring our military, including participation from the Special Forces Association Parachute Team, The Civil Air Patrol, and The Greenville City Fire Department. This Saturday, you’re invited to a Memorial Day celebration at Fireforge Crafted Beer. From 11:30-7pm, explore Fireforge’s taproom and kitchen, while also supporting a veteran owned company, Frontline Brewing. Twenty percent of all sales will benefit veterans and first responders in our area. Sip and eat while listening to The Wobblers, a band that is known for their Roots and Hard Bop Jazz style. You won’t want to miss their smash burgers or footlong hotdogs! This free event is open to the public and an excellent opportunity to support our veterans this Memorial Day weekend.


Steve Miller once said that, “Dinosaurs may be extinct from the face of the planet, but they are alive and well in our imaginations.” But this weekend at the Upcountry History Museum, dinosaurs are becoming that much more real again. This Saturday from 10-12pm, enjoy dinosaur themed exhibits, sounds, crafts, games, and more! Kids 2 and under are free. Adult tickets are $14, and children tickets are $10. Experience learning in a whimsical environment and fun that is larger than life!
