Take it easy this weekend during Sippin’ in Simponville’s Summer Beer Tasting, which will feature beer samples from 30+ companies. Join from 6pm-10pm for live music, a trendy atmosphere, and local vendors. General admission tickets purchased in advance are $30; tickets bought on the day are $45. Move over, high school seniors: It’s the senior citizens’ time to party. This Friday night, the Greenville Convention Center is hosting a Greenville Senior Prom. Groove the night away in style and enjoy a catered dinner, too. Enjoy free parking off Eisenhower Drive. They say “If it ain't baroque, dont fix it!” But if you’re in the mood for baroque music, then the South Carolina Baroque Music Festival is the place to be. Six concerts from various bands, like SC Bach and Echoing Air Ensemble, are being offered this weekend from various locations. Check out the link below for a more detailed schedule. Three of the concerts are free, and the other three larger concerts are $25. Supporting the arts will never go out of style.
