The play that coined iconic lines like, “You can’t handle the truth!” is coming to Greenville’s Centre Stage from May 7th-24th. A Few Good Men follows lawyer Daniel Kaffee and his attempt to defend two U.S. Marines accused of murder. Characters must grapple with where the line is between duty and justice, patriotism and honor. Tickets start at $25 and are on sale now.

In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, Historic Hopkins Farm is throwing a Colonial Picnic this weekend. Families will love the demonstrations, hayrides, and theatrical speeches, in addition to a colonial store and games. For food trucks, Big Mike & Kids Kitchen, Stu’s Q, King of Fire Pizza, Soda Slingers, Blue Collar Brew, Tipsy Trails, and One Dessert Place, will provide plenty of options for picnicking. If choosing to join a historic hayride tour of the Battle of the Great Cane Brake Site, please be advised that tours begin at 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30. This is a free community event that is sure to make history come alive in the Upstate.
