Every Thursday, we will highlight our ‘top 5 musts’ that will include everything from restaurants, activities, parks, concerts and festivals that are all right here in beautiful Greenville, SC.

One

March Madness begins with the SEC Women's Basketball Tournament, hosted here in Greenville at our vey own Bon Secours Wellness Arena. The final two games are Saturday at 4:30pm and Sunday at 3:00pm. Purchase your tickets now to enjoy the tournament court-side.

Two

Spring is in the air, the daffodils are blooming, and the weather this weekend is supposed to be sunny and mild. What better way to celebrate the season's change than with a bright, fresh meal at Greenville's premier Mediterranean restaurant? Whether you dine on small plates of fried goat cheese, calamari, or morrocan lamb or choose to go Family Style with a three-course dinner, The Lazy Goat is sure to impress. Reservations are recommended during this busy weekend. The Family Style dinner is available for 4-18 people, at $40/person.

Three

Whether your team wins or loses the tournament, ending the day with a laugh is never a bad idea. Join our local Improv Comedy Troop Downtown at Coffee Underground's adjacent theater. The Show is from 7:15-8:30pm and costs $8 for admission. Plan to arrive early and save room for some dessert-- Coffee Underground has fantastic coffee, lattes, and a whole slew of desserts-- cakes, pies, cheescakes, you name it.

Four

With the great weather we are expecting this weekend, we absolutlely can't help but recommend an outdoor adventure. Located just North of Greenville, Paris Mountain Sate Park boasts several trails for all levels and beautiful, serene views. We recommend the Suphur Springs Trail, a 3.8 mile loop trail that brings you through deep ravines, alongside creekbeds and foliage, and ends with you cresting a final ridge to be eye level with Mountain Lake, created and held back by a beautiful dam. Admisison is $6 adults, $3.50/ child age 6-15, and free for children 5 and younger.

Downtown Greenville is sure to be busy this weekend, and sometimes you just want to get away from the crowds. If that's you, we suggest Saffron Indian Cuisine, located off of Woodruff Rd in more of a shopping suburb of Greenville. While this road will still have some traffic, you won't notice it at all once you arrive to Saffron. Amazing Northern Punjabi Indian food awaits and an eager wait staff is happy to share recommendations with you. I highly recommend upgrading to the Garlic Naan to enjoy with the comforting curries and tikka masala.
