Shop Local: Best Christmas Markets and Holiday Pop-Ups around Greenville, SC

I always start out November with the best of intentions when it comes to gift shopping. But inevitably, I wait until the last minute every year. Don’t be like me.  Greenville, SC, has too many fantastic Christmas markets and holiday pop-ups to leave shopping for the last minute. It’s much more fun to shop locally than at a Target. At a Christmas market, individuals can find one-of-a-kind items, crafted with soul. Don’t know where to look? Check out our list of the top Christmas markets and holiday pop-ups near Greenville. 

  1. Hopkins Holiday Market (November 15th)
  • Skip over to sweet little Simpsonville to shop from over 50 local vendors.  Little ones can take pictures with Santa for $5. Because it is so early in the season, there are sure to be less crowds. 
  • Time: 11:00-4:00pm
  1. Holiday Hop & Christmas Market (November 29th) 
  • This market in downtown Traveler’s Rest will include a tree lighting, photos with Santa, craft making, train rides, caroling, and of course, a holiday market. 
  • Time: 3:00-7:00pm
  1. Holiday Market at Camperdown Plaza (November 30th)
  • Conveniently, this one is located in the heart of downtown Greenville. Live music, pictures with Santa, and an assortment of local vendors will be there! 
  • Time: 11:30am- 3:30pm
  1. Greenville Christmas Market (Nov 28th–Dec 28th)
  • Check out this luxurious market held in the Grand Bohemian Lodge. On select days and times, there will be live entertainment, crafts, storytime, and photos with Santa. The market aims to combine both European and Southern styles. 
  • Feast at Between the Trees or grab a drink at Spirit & Bower to make it an extra special occasion. 
  • Time: Hours vary
  1. Holiday Fair & Kringle Village (December 4th-7th)
  • As “Greenville’s Largest Winter Festival,” there will be more than 500 local vendors, all in the Greenville Convention Center. The market will include a large “North Pole” kid’s center and model train display, as well as tastings from Methodical Coffee and Six & Twenty Distillery. 
  • Time: Hours vary
  • Price: $10 per ticket and $10 for parking
  1. Fountain Inn Merry Market (December 6th)
  • Quaint little Fountain Inn will be decorated with twinkling lights for their Christmas market, featuring many unique vendors. More details to come on their website!
  • Time: 11:00-5:00pm
  1. Greer Farmers Market Christmas Festival (December 7th-8th)
  • Shop from more than 40 vendors at Greer Park. There will also be live music, kid’s activities, and a food court. 
  • Time: 10:00-2:00pm
  1. TD Saturday Market – Holiday Edition (December 13th)
  • Peruse more than 50 vendors selling homemade gifts, baked goods, and produce. Take photos with the Grinch! 
  • Time: 9:00am-1:00pm
