December 5, 2022

Traveling with your dog can make every experience that much sweeter. You did not come all this way to leave them at your airbnb while you explore Greenville, did you? Lucky for you and your furry friend, Greenville has a plethora of places to eat, drink, and experience the town with your beloved honorary family member.

There is no better place to begin than with what the locals call, “The most pet friendly place in Greenville”

1. The Unleashed Dog Bar (Casual)

The Unleashed Dog Bar is Greenville’s first and only bar featuring an unleashed dog park. Located at 69 Rocky Slope Road, their motto is “come get a beer with your best friend”

2. Soby’s (Upscale dinner)

Looking to try a staple of the food scene in Greenville? Soby’s is one of Greenville’s longest standing restaurants in the downtown area. Long before Greenville was on the map of the food world, Soby’s was holding down the fort. The only thing better than their classic southern entrees and handmade cocktails is that you can enjoy all of this…with your dog! Not many other restaurants can claim to provide a delicious meal directly on the brick streets of the city square.

3. Sidewall Pizza Company

A slice of pizza can tell you a lot about the city you are visiting. Sidewall Pizza is Greenville’s acclaimed pizza bar. You have tons of options stemming from your favorite classics to the restaurant specialities specific to Sidewall. With three locations, (Downtown Greenville, Pelham Road, and Simpsonville) you can stay just about anywhere around town and be within a few minutes of delicious pizza. All three locations offer dog access!

4. FoxCroft Wine

Many patrons might be surprised to find out that their favorite wine bar in the heart of Greenville is welcoming of dogs. FoxCroft Wine has a large selection of wines from all over the world. Enjoy small plates like their charcuterie board or their famous burger over a glass of wine with your pup.

5. The Commons

If you can’t agree on what you’re in the mood to eat then The Common’s is calling your name. Deemed “a hipster Food Court” by those who love it; you are more than welcome to bring your dog to choose from Greenville’s favorite coffee shops, wine, tacos, burgers and freshly baked pastries all under one roof. The Commons houses Golden, Brown & Delicious (GB&D), Automatic Taco, Methodical Coffee, Community Tap and The Bake Room.
